What is Car Rental?
Car rental involves renting of automobile for short period of time which could range from few hours to few weeks for a fee. Car rental agencies are mainly located near busy city areas and airports.
Car rental companies serve people who temporarily don't have their own vehicle or people who are traveling. Rental companies either purchase or lease vehicles or own them under guaranteed buy back program for renting to customers for a fee.
There are several conditions set by a car rental company before you rent an automobile though they vary from brand to brand. Some of the conditions include ownership of a valid driving license, minimum age for renting vehicle which could be as high as 25, automobile should not exceed maximum driven distance and it needs to be returned in good condition. Most of the car rental companies ask for a valid credit card for charging additional fees or for identification of the concerned person.
