Insurance: Don't fall for the rental cars company's insurance pitch. Quite likely, your perusal insurance policy covers all the charges. Make sure you don't end up double insuring the rental cars.
Gas: Rental cars need to be returned with the tank filled with gas. In case you don't, they will overcharge you and you will end up paying over $8 per gallon.
